Residential Inspections

At Next Move Inspections, we provide the most comprehensive residential inspections, including home and condominium inspection services. We begin with the roof, assessing not only the roof surface but also the ventilation system, electrical service entrance, plumbing stack, and other components located on the roof.

Next, we inspect the exterior of the home using both a macro and micro approach to ensure that we capture the big picture as well as the finer details. We then move inside, starting from the bottom of the house and working our way up to the attic. Our thorough inspection covers critical aspects such as the structure, heating and cooling systems, electrical and plumbing systems, interior finishes, insulation and ventilation, and accessories like fireplaces.

After the evaluation, we provide a detailed inspection report, which includes descriptions of all systems in the home as well as recommended improvements. This report will help you prioritize enhancements and create a blueprint for your future in your residence. Best of all, our services extend beyond the inspection; as long as you own the home, you can reach out to us with any additional questions at no extra charge.

4-Point Inspections

Our 4-point inspections focus on the key systems of your home: the roof, electrical system, plumbing, and HVAC system. Although specific insurance requirements may vary, our experience allows us to pinpoint essential elements, including the age and type of each system, its overall condition, and whether it meets current standards. The role of the insurance underwriter is not to qualify you for homeowners insurance but to identify any potential disqualifying factors. With our expertise in 4-point inspections, we can help you understand possible issues with your home's major systems and advise on corrective steps.

Wind Mitigation Inspection

A wind mitigation inspection is an invaluable service that can significantly lower your windstorm insurance premiums. This inspection identifies which credits apply to your home. During a wind mitigation inspection, we evaluate key features and enhancements that minimize potential damage from hurricanes or strong windstorms. Insurance discounts are often available for building features that enhance wind resistance because stronger structures result in fewer windstorm losses and lower costs for insurance providers. Most existing homes possess one or more wind-resistant features and may qualify for wind mitigation insurance discounts.

Mold Inspection

If you own a property or are considering purchasing one, you certainly want to avoid homes with mold issues. Mold can be challenging to detect, but with our mold inspection services at Next Move Inspections, our certified mold inspector will assess the property for any signs of mold presence. If any is discovered, we will promptly inform you so you can make an informed decision.

Sewer Scope Inspection

For homes built before 1972, it's common to find cast iron sanitary sewer pipes beneath the floors. Although these pipes were designed to last about 40 to 50 years, they can corrode over time, leading to leaks, blockages, backups, and potential damage to your home. As these pipes deteriorate, contaminated sewer water can saturate the soil beneath your floors and walls, creating hazardous conditions. It’s not a matter of 'if' these pipes will fail, but 'when.' Replacing them can be costly and may require you to vacate the premises. Early detection through a sewer scope inspection allows for proactive planning and remediation before the home becomes uninhabitable. Additionally, many homeowners are unaware that their homeowner’s insurance may cover the damage and associated repairs. This is where Next Move Inspections comes in. As impartial experts in home evaluations, we provide objective assessments of your piping system using state-of-the-art mini-camera technology. Unlike plumbers, we have no vested interest in re-piping your home. We deliver critical information, including a detailed report that documents any damages, complete with video and photographs of the piping conditions. Next Move Inspections has successfully provided this service to countless homeowners across South Florida.

Termite and Septic Tank Inspections

At Next Move Inspections, we have teamed up with a Pest Control Company and a Septic Tank Inspection Company to offer you a comprehensive service. If you require termite or septic tank inspections, our trusted partners will accompany us during the inspection, ensuring you receive the highest level of care.
